Clearblue recommends that you test from the day you expect your period. However, the amount of pregnancy hormone increases rapidly in early pregnancy and Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test can be used as early as 4 days before your expected period. That’s 5 days sooner than waiting until you miss your period to test. If you test before your expected period and get a ‘Not Pregnant’ result, there is still a chance that you may be pregnant and you should test again when you expect your period. The levels of pregnancy hormone in your urine may not be high enough yet to be detected. 1. Remove the test from its wrapper. 2. Point the Absorbent Tip downward in your urine stream for 5 seconds. 3. An hourglass symbol will flash letting you know the test is working. 4. After 3 minutes, your result will appear in words, either Pregnant or Not Pregnant. The Clearblue Pregnancy Test with weeks indicator is the first and only test that is as accurate as an ultrasound scan at dating pregnancy*. Its smart dual sensor not only tells you in words on the digital display if you’re pregnant or not pregnant, it also tells you how far along you are the weeks since conception are shown as 1-2, 2-3 or 3 plus. You can test 5 days before your missed period (which is 4 days before your expected period). In lab testing, 98 per cent of pregnant results were detected the day before the expected period, 97 per cent 2 days before the expected period, 90 per cent 3 days before and 65 per cent 4 days before the expected period.
