nThe test strip is inserted into the designated point on the monitor; this automatically powers on the device, The sample (capillary blood) is then obtained using a loaded lancing device, the sample is transferred to the middle of the test pad on the test strip. The test strip (and its components) has the function to spread the blood above the test area in a quick and hygienic way.
