Nevanac is used to relieve eye pain, irritation, and redness following cataract eye surgery. Nepafenac  belongs to a class of drugs known as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs( NSAIDs). It works by blocking certain natural substances (prostaglandins) in your body that cause pain and swelling.
